Dr. Hiba Abdulkareem Khamis Hasan was born in Basrah‐Iraq, she received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2024. She is a faculity member since 2007– present at Southern Technical University, Basrah Engineering Technical College, Department of Electrical Engineering. She is a member at the Electrical engineering Research Group (EETRG). Having many certificates related to Electrical Engineering, Computer Networks topics, and other subjects that deal with academic and electrical power management issues. She is a reviewer for IEEE Access journal (since 2023). She Served in many department committees (scientific, examination, accreditation, quality assurance, and student guidance). Her research interests include power systems, renewable energy sources, smart homes, smart grids, hybrid systems, and power management .
