Prof. Issa received his BSc. and MSc. in Control and Computing from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Basrah, Iraq in 2002 and 2005, respectively. While his Ph.D. is also in Control and Computing from University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia in 2014. Currently, he is a professor and the head of the Control and Automation Department at Engineering Technical College, Basrah, Southern Technical University, Iraq. His areas of interest include artificial intelligence, solar energy, control systems, robotics, and image processing.
